Debating

So I posted about a month or so ago saying that I was going to close this thing down, but I’m not too sure anymore. I love Blogger, don’t get me wrong, but this site just gets more hits somehow. It’s not normally a big deal to me, getting hits and all, but I like to be able to think that someone is actually reading what I’m taking time out of my life to write. I don’t do this just for me you know.

It would be VERY meaningful and helpful if someone would let me know what they think! If I don’t get any replies here I guess I should just consider it abandoned.

Update 29.6.2010

Now that the summer has arrived there’s much to be done. As you may have noticed there’s a new header, I felt the old one just didn’t fit anymore.

In the coming weeks I plan to post several reviews and the rest of the Higurashi character bios as well as to start on some bios for series such as Code Geass and Umineko.

As always I would like to point out that your comments are always appreciated and welcomed. 🙂

Update 16.3.2010

I purchased Final Fantasy XIII the day it was released and it got me to thinking that maybe I should review it and the like. I’m sure there are a few people that visit the site that also play games, so it wouldn’t hurt to post some tips and such.

Also, I fully plan on finishing up the character bios for Higurashi and starting them for Code Geass as well as finally reviewing both seasons of Code Geass. It just seems to be continuously put off. I think it had a little to do with the fact that I was always busy at FXN, but I am no longer on staff there, so I have all the time in the world to work on keeping this baby up to date.

Update 26.2.2010

During the past few days I have added a few new higurashi character bios. I hope you like them. Remember, comments are always appreciated. I plan to add more in the next few days as well as add a new review for Code Geass and Code Geass R2 as well as character bios for that series as well. If there are any series that you would like to see reviewed and/or with character bios, please comment or email me and I will do my best to get them up for you.

One feature that I’m taking down from the site, I’m not sure if I mentioned it yet, but I’m taking down the video game news section. I haven’t the time to continuously look up news on the web and post it here. It would be the same stuff that you would read on N4G anyways. Perhaps after I get more established I’ll add an anime or music news section, but for now we’ll be sticking with reviews and the like.

On the same note about video games I would like to point out now that, since I love games a lot but never seem to have the time to fully complete them, every game review that I do will most likely end up with two versions. The first will be a review that I do after I play the game about half through or at least enough to get a feel for what it is, the second review will most likely be like my anime reviews, chock full of spoilers. So, keep an eye on which ones you’re reading.

Well it seems that my blog has been getting quite a few hits as of late. From looking at that information I see that Higurashi information is in high demand. This, my friends, is why I have decided on two things.

FIRST
Hinamizawa Syndrome as a community is put on hold. This is happening because of a number of things. One of those things is the obvious lack of participation from key members of the idea. Another important reason is the fact that I still need to get this blog on its feet and I’ve also gotten two other started; one for random things, and another for history. Another reason that I’ve halted the Hinamizawa Syndrome project is the fact that, when it comes down to it, I just don’t have enough time.

SECOND
I will be turning this whole blog into a nicely organized and easy to navigate home page. Things seem to work out better that way. Updates on the main page and content on separate pages.

All of that said, I’m planning, very soon, to start working on character bios and the like for Higurashi as well as every other anime that I watch, have watched, and eventually plan to watch. Obviously the group mentioned lastly will be made last. The same will go for games as well.

Almost Graduation Time!!

Hello everyone! 😀

Well the whole being only on Linux thing only lasted like..2 days. I couldn’t deal with the lack of photoshop or contribute. So I’m back on Windows. I’m getting ready to do no less than five anime reviews as I have acquired the shows. Those animes are: Cat Girl Nuku Nuku TV, Eureka 7, Loveless, Chrono Crusade, and Sky Girls.

I also have a few album reviews that I’ll be starting on soon. I just got into a few new bands so I’ll review their newest cds for you, along with the new Otep one.

As I may have stated before, I have officially decided to leave FXN. I will still promote them, I will still report news for them, I will still be on friendly terms with them. I will not, however, resume being an active community member. The community is lost, I refuse to return. On the same note, I refuse as well to apologize to both Kyle and Darryl because I honestly don’t think my actions were wrong.

Now, if anyone is interested in a nice community with great, active members, you should go to FFF. That site I have grown to love. It’s very well managed, and so far I haven’t really encountered any problems with members. I can tell that its a very active site and I think everyone should check it out. 😀

2010 is upon us

Damn straight. And now is the time for me to kick it into gear for real. It’s been almost a year since I started this and we’re getting nowhere. So, from now on, I’ll try to update it with a news story at least three or four times a week and at least one or two reviews a month. AT LEAST.

Now that it’s 2010 there are a lot of changes happening. For one, I’ve decided that I no longer want to be a part of the FXN community, I’m much happier at FFF. For those that don’t know, FFF is http://www.finalfantasyforums.net it’s another Final Fantasy site which has a larger community and seems to be a little better organized. I know I mentioned them before, but I just thought that I would point them out once more on a more positive note. Anyways, I’m done with the community on FXN, but I’ll continue to report FNC news for them, that’s my job and I wanted it, so I’ll continue to do it.

Another massive change is the fact that I’m now using Linux based operating systems ONLY. I refuse to deal with the drama of Windows and its possible viruses and the like, so I’m sticking with Linux because I’m not dumb enough to buy a mac. So since I’m using Linux, I’ll have to get ahold of another way to easily update other than Dreamweaver. D:

As for the GamingUnion drama; I think I’ll apologize. I don’t want any part of their site, but I’ll apologize. So if you’re lookin for me on a forum or anywhere on the net here’s where you go:

Downside to living with the boyfriend

Biggest downside ever; we both got banned from FinalFantasyForums.net. Why? Because they thought that I had made a duplicate account. Why the hell they would think that when we gave them two active psn id’s and posted completely different things is BEYOND me. It’s not my fault we have the same IP.

So I’m just gonna stay with FXN. And for the record I still haven’t swallowed my pride enough to apologize to Kyle and Darryl. So Nick’s just gonna have to live with me not being on Gaming Union. Sorry.

New layout, and new content soon

So I made a new header for the blog. 😀 I like it a lot. I was thinking about things to add to the blog, I might do movie reviews along with anime reviews and album reviews. I say that because I just saw Saw 6 last night and I loved it. Thinking about reviewing Persona 4 next as well.
